Learn more about Oliver:

Did you do anything art related this summer?

“I looked at a bunch of art and went to museum’s but that was about the extent of my artistic experience this summer.”

What has even your favorite exhibition during your time at Davidson?

“My favorite exhibition is actually the current exhibition in the gallery which is Katie St. Claire’s Lay of the Land. All the paintings are amazing but my favorite part of the show was the instillation Wayside with it’s filled ice orbs. Of course all the other exhibits were very good as well and the student exhibition is super fun but this was my favorite.”

What is your favorite thing about working in the art gallery?

“My favorite part about working in the gallery is helping to set up all the shows, wether that is the senior shows or the gallery exhibits. It’s also cool to be the first one to see a show.”

What are you most exited to do this semester in the art gallery (or in art in general)?

“I think I am most excited to see and set up the new shows throughout the semester.”
