Adelle Patten is a North Carolinian mixed media artist interested in visualizing our current reality, defined by the Digital Revolution. Patten is currently pursuing a BA in Studio Art with a minor in Digital Studies at Davidson College. As a MacDonald Community Scholar and Charles L. Fonville Scholar at Davidson, she is passionate about the intersection of social justice, climate change and arts education. In 2018, she received the Juror’s Award for Painting at the Annual Student Art Exhibition. Patten serves as a Davidson Arts and Creative Engagement Fellow, granting student creatives with AIR (Artistic Independent Research Grants). As a Davidson College Digital Learning Media Consultant, Patten also collaborates with students and faculty to build digital projects. Currently, she is digitally illustrating for Professor of Creative Writing, Alan Michael Parker’s newest publication. In the near future, she hopes to pursue a Masters of Fine Arts.
