Recent Acquisitons

ABOUT:

The Van Every/Smith Galleries are pleased to present Recent Acquisitions, on view from May 30 – July 27, 2017. The pieces on view are a selection of works added to the permanent art collection during the past three years, either by gift or gallery purchase. The work spans nearly 100 years, and a variety of media including painting, photography, printmaking, and more.

While on campus, be sure to take a tour of our Campus Sculpture Program and visit our new sculpture by Aristides Demetrios, a gift of the Douglas Shierson Family.

Summer gallery hours are Tuesday – Thursday, 10am – 4pm. Additionally, the gallery will extend opening hours during reunion weekend: June 9 – 11, open 10am-4pm.
