Campus Sculpture Adds “The Group of Ten”

Davidson College is completing the installation of the newest addition to the Campus Sculpture Program’s garden outside E.H. Little Library. This work, The Group of Ten by Polish sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz,  is the latest addition to Davidson’s Permanent Art Collection.  Abakanowicz’s work can be found in major museums and public collections all over the world.  A public dedication will take place on campus on Thursday, March 29 at 4:30 p.m.

The dedication will feature remarks by President Carol Quillen. Music for the dedication has been composed by Jennifer Stasack, Professor and Chair of Music, and will be performed by Artist Associates Rosemary Warren-Green (violin) and Alan Black (cello), joined by Nathan Heath ’15 (violin).
